in the Savona style, moulded with gaping mask handles and shields below shells, supported by caryatids above a pinched rectangular base, painted in blue and outlined in black with classical figures in an Italianate landscape, painted cockrel mark, circa 1890 (minor flakes, overpainting to an extending firing crack to the base) -- 52cm. wide
