A pair of gilt-metal-mounted Sèvres style vases and covers
of inverted baluster form, each painted with a courting couple in landscape, within chased gilt quatrefoil panels issuing scrolls, with 'jewelled' ornament, the reverse with a panel of musical devices, bellow reeded necks, the handles cast as putti, the bases supported by paw feet, circa 1880 (one cover damaged and repaired, some 'jewels' lacking and wear) -- 45cm. high
