with flowerhead finial, mask handles and four short feet, decorated in gilt with panels of retreats in river landscape scenes alternating with chrysanthemums and bamboo and trailing wisteria branches -- 3¾in. (9.5cm.) high, signed Satsuma Gyokusen, (minor rubbing).
