A George IV salver
of shaped circular outline with a border of foliate scrolls engraved in the centre, with a view of a parish church and the inscription, "the gift of the town of Stockton-upon-Tees to Robert Wilson, chruchwarden, upon his retiring from the duties of his office in the year 1827", bordered by flat-chased acorns and oak foliage, resting upon foliate feet, makers mark partially worn, probably by Messrs Blagdin, Hodgson, Kirkby, Elliott & Woolin, Sheffield, 1826 - 45.5cm dia, 66oz.
