BALE & WOODWARD'S CELESTIAL GLOBE
A 2¾-inch (7cm.) diameter celestial globe made up of twelve hand-coloured lithographed gores laid to the celestial poles, the constellations depicted as mythical beasts, figures and scientific instruments, and labelled in Latin, the Polar and equatorial circles marked in red, (some old surface abrasions), with unengraved brass meridian half circle, on baluster turned fruitwood pillar and concave triangular base with three brass bun feet -- 6¼in. (15.9cm.) high
