A 2¾-inch (7cm.) diameter miniature terrestrial globe made up of twelve hand-coloured engraved gores, the trade cartouche separately applied, the equatorial graduated in degrees, the ecliptic and prime meridian ungraduated, the continents outlined in orange, red, yellow and green, no Antarctic coastline shown save a small portion of Graham Land, Tasmania labelled, Alaska labelled To United States, the Macquarrie Islands south of Tasmania labelled Judge & Clerk and Bishop & Clerk (some paper loss and surface abrasions, revarnished, small dent to South Pacific), with plain brass meridian half circle, raised on a baluster turned mahogany stand and tri-form base (revarnished) with three brass bun feet -- 4.5/8in. (11.8cm.) high
