A late 19th-Century novelty inkwell globe
the 2-inch (5cm.) diameter terrestrial globe, unsigned, made up of twelve with one overlapping paper gores, coloured in pale blue, red, purple, yellow and green, the base flattened, the lid opening via a sprung button to reveal a glass inkwell with cover and sponge container.
