Little is known of this Berlin maker, although Zögner describes and illustrates a Heymann globe as item XI/14, dated circa 1860. The cartography of this globe would appear to suggest a date circa 1900.

A 5.7/8-inch (14.8cm.) diameter terrestrial globe, made up of twelve printed and coloured paper gores, the oceans labelled with major currents, the continents where applicable showing the extent of the German Empire, mountain ranges of the North and South American continents, Asia and other continents shown, on steel axis with turned fruitwood base with inlaid compass (some old abrasions) -- 12in. (30.5cm.) high
