A 4½-inch (11.5cm.) diameter terrestrial table globe made up of twelve chromolithogarphed gores and two polar calottes (South Polar calotte detached), the equator and Greenwich meridian graduated in degrees, the oceans showing ocean currents, the continents with nation states variously coloured, with steel finial, on simple fruitwood column and circular base (revarnished) -- 8½in.(21.6cm.) high

Leningrad is shown, and Ethiopia is labelled ABESSINIEN, dating the globe to between when St Petersburg was renamed in 1924, and 1935 when Abyssinia became Italian East Africa.
