A 13-inch (33cm.) diameter terrestrial table globe, made up of twelve colour printed gores and two polar calottes, the equatorial graduated in degrees, no ecliptic shown, the countries coloured and outined, the oceans showing ocean currents and shipping routes and times (e.g. Bordeaux-Dakar-R.d.Janeiro 16Tg.) (some surface abrasions with loss of text, poles worn), mounted on turned wooden column and plinth base with inset compass -- 23½in. (60cm.) high
