A set of three Chinese Tonkin gilt-bronze and copper scholar's objects
comprising a tripod censer and foliate cover with lion finial, mask and loose-ring handles, decorated with shaped panels of birds among prunus, pine and peonies below teo petal bands -- 5.in (12.7cm) high; a cylindrical incence holder with foliate rim, decorated with similar cartouches -- 3½.in (8.9cm) high; and a similar circular box and cover decorated with birds among prunus and bamboo -- 2¼.in (5.7cm) diam, all with carved wooden stands, with fitted rectangular box and carrying handle, 17th/18th Century.
