carved with characters and a seal to one side and vessels to the other below a band of key-frets to the neck on a opaque white ground, stopper -- 3.in (7.6cm) high; a black overlay bottle carved with central yin-yan symbols within trigrams and geometric handles on a opaque green ground, stopper -- 2¼.in (5.7cm) high; a red-overlay glass bottle with Buddhist emblems, stopper -- 3.in (7.6cm) high; two further red-overlay bottles decorated with cranes in flight above shrines and clouds on snowstorm grounds2½.in (6.4cm) high; and another red-overlay bottle decorated with vases and censers on a clear ground -- 2¾.in (7cm) high, 19th Century.
