containing approximately one-hundred-and-eighty-six sepia images depicting The Old Summer Palace near Peking (Yuanmingyuan) depicting ruins of the south facade, the east gallery and pavillion of the Xieqiqu, other buildings and monuments, a balloon flight, a railway track, bridges, The Red Army, various portaits of officials, ladies and children, landscapes, torture scenes, court scenes and others, mostly large sizes -- the largest 11¼ X 8¼.in (28.5 X 21cm), (some worn, small tears, creasing and water damage).
