painted, gilt and moulded to the exterior with Buddhistic symbols and mythical beasts among cloud scrolls above foaming waves, the interior with gold fish swimming among aquatic weeds, all within borders of floral cartouches on geometric pattern grounds -- 20in. (51cms) diam, 19th century, (part restored).
