A Chinese blue and white oblong octagonal tureen, cover and stand
with hares' head handles and flowerhead finial, decorated with sprays of peonies and retreats in rocky, river landscapes, the stand with a deer and stag among pine, bamboo, prunus and rockwork within borders of hatch pattern and further peonies -- the stand 15in (38cms) wide, 18th century, (restoration to stand, rim nibbles).
