painted en grisaille, gilt and slight coloured enamels with a centralcrest surmounted by a crown and floral garlands within a border containing a cartouche of a European mythological figure seated on a riverbank and shaped geometric pattern and foliate cartouches -- 13¾in. (35cms) wide, 18th century, (rim chips, slight gilt rubbing, star crack to base).
