A Swiss two-tone gilt and silvered mignonnette striking and repeating carriage clock
late 19th century
The anglaise riche case with beaded decoration to the columns, with silvered panels to the sides and rear door, each applied with rose-gilt stylised floral mounts, with conforming mounts to the silvered mask of the white enamel Roman chapter disc with painted cartouches, blued spade hands, the twin barrel movement with strike barrel to the base wound through the underside and going barrel to the centre with silvered platform to the bimetallic balance with lever escapement, strike/repeat on gong to the backplate
