Lot Essay

It is interesting to note the progression between this and the proceeding lot. Some 20-30 years on the case style now owes much to prevailing trends established in Paris. The alarm is now wound through the backplate, whilst typical Franche Comté features such as external rack-work and manually adjusted hands still remain.
