The arched case decorated with blue enamel, with plain rear door, the gilt dial with beaded edge and Arabic chapters, with retail signature to the engine-turned centre for BAILEY BANKS & BIDDLE CO., blued hands, the twin barrel movement with Swiss style vertically positioned bimetallic balance with lever escapement, with enamel alarm disc to the backplate, striking on a gong to the backplate and with alarm to the base, with indistinct French maker's stamp
