The Louis XV doucine case with ripple cornice mouldings and Corinthian columns, with solid panels to the sides and rear door overlaid with foliate pierced and engraved trellis mounts, conforming mask and centre to the white enamel annular Arabic chapter ring, with signature LE ROY & FILS (partially rubbed), blued hands, the twin barrel movement with silvered platform to the cut bimetallic balance with lever escapement, strike/repeat on gong to the backplate numbered 9476, with Le Roy Patent Bottom-Wind to the base signed LE ROY & FILS PATENT NO. 9501
