The arched case on agate plinth and with fleur-de-lis gallery to the base, agate repeat button to the top, the front, sides and top decorated in sky blue enamel with gilt decorated black borders and with pink and gilt palette designs, the sides centred by shields, with plain rear door, the oval bone dial with Arabic chapter ring and centre painted with figures beside a river, the single barrel movement with silvered platform to the cut bimetallic balance with lever escapement, plunge repeat on two gongs to the backplate stamped E. MATHEY-TISSOT and numbered 7299, with repeat stamp and number 12176 to the rear door; with original gilt-tooled brown leather travel case and associated key
