The case with foliate handle and repeat button to the bevel-glazed top cast with foliage in high relief, ribbon-tied reeded columns on a foliate cast base on block feet, the sides decorated with swags of ribbon-tied flowers on a translucent enamelled silvered engine-turned ground, the similarly enamelled mask applied with a gilt-brass Arabic dial, blued moon hands, the twin barrel movement with silvered platform to the cut bimetallic balance with lever escapement, strike/repeat/alarm on gong, with white enamel alarm disc at the base of the backplate numbered 15906
