The pillars case with side panels cast in relief with flying birds amidst branches, in two-tone gilt against a dark silvered ground, the conforming dial with silvered Arabic chapter ring, blued hands, with alarm ring below, the twin barrel movement with silvered platform to the the bimetallic balance with lever escapement, strike/repeat/alarm on gong to the backplate stamped for Margaine and numbered 5785
