Provenance
The Collection of the French lawyer Lucien Duchet part of which was exhibited at the Exposition Universelle de 1900 Paris . Inherited by the vendor from an ancestor who was a neighbour of Duchet. Another portion of the collection was sold by Christie's South Kensington in 1981.
