Lot Essay

Possibly Antonin Pierre Topart,(b. Paris 1833) or a member of his family. He was a portrait and history painter in oil and enamels. He was a pupil of E.Chanson and exhibited at the Salon from 1864 to 1882. His daughter Louise is known to have exhibited fans.
