The case surmounted by a group showing an amorino in an embrace with a scantily clad girl, another amorino peeking to one side, on D-ended base inset with foliate cast mounts, with relief panel to the front depicting amorini playing, on toupie feet, the white enamel Arabic dial with pierced gilt-metal hands, the twin barrel movement with later vertically positioned cylinder escapement and strike on bell; and the pair of three light candelabra en suite, each modelled with an amorino standing below the branches, on cylindrical socle
