A German gilt-brass mounted walnut quarter-chiming shelf clock, early 20th century
The case with urn finial to the stepped top and flambeau finials to the angles, with foliate and cherub mask cast panels to the side doors, caryatid mounts to the front angles (one presently detached), the stepped base on claw feet, the brass dial with gilt brass floral and cherub mask spandrels to the silvered Roman dial with matted centre, with rings to the arch for regulation and chime/silent, the triple barrel movement with quarter chimes on four gongs and hour strike on further gong
