The case with brass handle to inverted bell top, side panels with later relief cast mounts, on later foliate scroll cast feet, the dial with silvered strike/silent ring to the arch, later silvered demi-lune ring and later spandrels, the matted centre with associated plaque bearing signature Storr London, date aperture now covered, with mock pendulum aperture, the re-trained movement with three wire fusees and adapted to anchor escapement, quarter chiming on a nest of eight bells via eight hammers and with hour strike on further bell, pull trip quarter repeat, with foliate scroll engraved backplate and now with lower section to accommodate additional fusee; third quarter 18th century, associated and adapted
