Nine daguerreotypes all cased: one half-plate, lightly hand-tinted, the case stamped Photographic Portrait Gallery Exchange Arcade Manchester; two quarter-plate, each hand-tinted, one with cloud background, the latter stamped on case Eastham's Photographic Portrait Gallery 7 Market St. Manchester, the other stamped ....H. C. Booth Royal Parade Harrogate; four sixth-plate, three hand-tinted, one with stamped credit G.G. Barter...15, High St. Southampton, one stamped T. Chapman Browne Bible & Crown Market Place Leicester, the third stamped on case R. Lowe Promenade Cheltenham, the fourth stamped on gilt mount Young's (this with cloud background); and two ninth-plate, each hand-tinted, one with printed paper label H. C. Booth Photographist inside lid, the other stamped Nelson's Daguerreotype Dublin. (9)

Including a fine three-quarter length portrait of a lady by Lowe wearing a bonnet and one dark glove; another by Eastham with finely coloured landscape and cloud background; and a half-figure portrait of a gentleman with fine hand-tinting and cloud background.
