Two albumen prints, 12¾ x 11¼ in., and 9.5/8 x 7.7/8 in., mounted on card, the former titled and inscribed in ink From life registered Photograph copyright Julia Margaret Cameron Freshwater Bay and the latter with Colnaghi blindstamp on mount, this matted with arched top, framed, the latter with paper label inscribed in ink in a later hand Julia Margaret Cameron. Unidentified subject. 1866. The model is Mary Hillier, maid to Mrs. Cameron: the children also appear in another photograph with Mary Hillier - see Gernsheim's book (1948) plate 35... on verso. (2)
