Album containing twenty-four albumen prints, each approx. 9 x 11 in., the majority signed and/or numbered in the negatives including one signed J.H. Clarke, mounted on disbound album leaves, two titled in ink in a contemporary hand and the remainder titled and numbered in pencil in a later hand, half black morocco (disbound), titled in gilt on front cover, folio.

Landscape, architectural studies, city and mountain views around the Himalayas, Kashmir, Agra, Delhi and Lucknow including the prize photograph 'The Wanga Valley' (illus.), Tukt-i-Soliman, the Dhal Canal and Martand, Kashmir; Srinagar first bridge and palace; two images of the Taj Mahal, ruins of the Residency and the Bailey Guard Gate in Lucknow and a group portrait of Sir John Lawrence, his wife and officers.
