Album containing ninety-one hand-tinted albumen prints and seventeen gelatin silver prints, sixteen 4¾ x 6¾ in., the remainder approx. 8 x 10 in. or the reverse, the majority numbered and titled in the negatives, occasional titles in ink on mounts, tissue guards (creased and torn), red lacquer boards with black lacquer inset panel, moulded plastic onlay depicting birds and flowers, g.e., oblong 4to.

Ninety-one Japanese views around Nagasaki, Moji harbour, Kobe, Nara, Kyoto, Yokohama, Tokyo, Nikko, Hakone and Enoshima Island including river views, waterfall and rapid views, street scenes, images of parks, temple studies; and portraits of geisha, women sewing and a group portrait of buddhist priests.
