The inverted plain jambs, on stepped plinths, supporting the panelled frieze, centred by an integral tablet, carved in high relief with a finch amidst foliage, flanked to either end by female masks, the opening with projecting moulded frame, with stiff-leaves to the angles, below the stepped entanlature with rectangular moulded shelf, with rounded angles
