A rare Laughing Roosevelt Bear
made by the Columbia Teddy Bear Company, with short golden mohair, amber and black glass eye, black stitched nose and claws, red painted open/close mouth with two white glass teeth set inside, small pinched ears slotted into head, swivel head, jointed limbs, felt pads, squeeze box growler and open/close mouth movement by squeeze of tummy or turning of head --16in. (41cm.) tall, circa 1907 (lacks right eye, moth damage to pads, very slight wear to mohair)
