Punkinhead was made exclusively as the mascot for Eaton's Department store in Toronto. He became the hero of several storybooks, as well as the leader of the annual Santa Claus parade.

with brown mohair, golden mohair inner ears and chest, large clear and black glass eyes painted white on reverse, velvet cut muzzle, black stitched nose and smiling mouth, Mohican-style scalp lock of white mohair, swivel head, jointed limbs, beige felt pads, beige velvet card lined feet and original yellow felt shorts --15in. (38.5cm.) tall, circa 1950 (repair to small splits in foot pads)
