Punkinhead was made exclusively as the mascot for Eaton's department store in Toronto. He became the hero of several storybooks, as well as the leader of the annual Santa Claus Parade.

with brown mohair, golden mohair inner ears and chest, clear and black glass eyes painted on reverse, velvet cut muzzle, black stitched nose and smiling mouth, swivel head, Mohican-style scalp lock of white mohair, jointed limbs, brown felt paw pads, beige velvet card lined feet, label stitched to left foot pad and original yellow felt shorts --10in. (25.5cm.) tall, circa 1950 (loss of paint to eyes, slight overall wear)
