the top centred by a rectangular panel with two griffins flanking a flaming altar and surmounted by a tapering finial, flanked by a pierced frieze with scrolling dolphins above a rectangular bevelled swivel plate flanked by two scrolling candle branches with acanthus clasps terminating in circular drip-pans and cylindrical nozzles, above a raisable shelf and splayed feet terminating in wooden castors, the top detached -- 80in. (203cm.) high, 29in. (74cm.) wide
