A Chinese Or Tibetan Knife, A Chinese Cutlery Trousse, And A Small Chinese Knife

The first with slightly curved single-edged blade fullered along the back-edge on each side, hilt with oval silver-gilt guard engraved with foliage, mottled green jade grip cut with a fishscale design, and silver-gilt grotesque-mask cap, its pierced flowing mane forming the back-strap, in original scabbard with parcel-gilt silver filigree mounts pierced on each side with auspicious symbols (one missing) and enriched with red corals and turquoises, complete with its orange tassel; the second with white metal mounted knife (blade incomplete) and bone chopsticks, in white metal mounted wooden sheath with silver suspension chain and strike-a-light, the mounts chased with dragons, foliage and fish; the last with ivory grip-scales, in tapering tortoise-shell sheath with chased gilt white metal mounts
