The first early 19th Century
The first with curved single-edged blade (pitted) with double fullers bordering the back, stirrup hilt of iron plated with silver (iron pitted, silver incomplete), side-loop, and reeded ivory grip bound with silver wire; the second with waved pattern welded blade, wooden handle with decorated silver collar, and wooden scabbard encased in silver chased with running foliage; the last with curved blade damascened with silver, and silver-damascened iron hilt (rust pitted, rubbed throughout), in tooled leather scabbard
The first with 31in. (78.8cm.) blade
The sabre is a version of the British 1796 Light Cavalry pattern, probably made for a Yeomanry officer (3)
