With octagonal sighted barrel, the top-strap engraved 'Deane, Adams & Deane (Makers to H.R.H. Prince Albert) 30 King William St.t., London Bridge.', plain cylinder, foliate scroll engraved frame with safety-stop, arbor pin and arbor pin catch, chequered walnut butt, engraved trigger-guard and butt-trap with hinged cover, the latter engraved with a scallop-shell, and in refinished condition throughout: in relined and refitted oak case with accessories including brass bullet mould for round and conical bullets, and Dixon flask, London proof marks
