A Cased Brace Of Mariette Patent Presentation Four-Shot Percussion Pepperbox Revolvers, One Of 120-Bore, The Other Of 150-Bore
No.s 7 and 8, mid-19th Century
Each with each twist turn-off barrels numbered from '1' to '4', scroll engraved action and frame, the former stamped 'Mariette Brvet', under-hammer, engraved ring-trigger, and figured walnut grips, one with engraved butt-cap: in original fitted case covered with tooled black leather (minor damage to the exterior) lined in green felt with original accessories including powder-flask and numbered combined bullet mould/barrel key for each revolver, the exterior of the lid stamped with German presentation inscription and the retailer's name and address 'G.
