With signed swamped octagonal sighted barrel with gold line at the breech and gold-lined touch-hole, scroll engraved tang incorporating the back-sight, signed engraved flat bevelled lock with safety-catch, roller and stepped tail (cock replaced), figured walnut full stock with swelling flat-sided butt (some bruising), engraved iron mounts including trigger-guard with pineapple finial, silver escutcheon engraved with initials, and later horn-tipped ramrod (barrel and mounts lightly pitted), London proof marks
