With straight single-edged blade etched with hunting scenes, animals of the chase, trophies of sporting arms, signed at the base 'Weyersberg Solingen', the steel guard comprising short straight spatulate quillons, downturned scallop-shaped shell, and 'beaked' staghorn handle finely carved in relief on the front with a landscape inhabited by stags and hinds, with deep ribbed steel ferrule at the bottom and gadrooned pommel cap, the back of the grip left rough
