The first with slender spike of stiff diamond section, strongly crescentic axe-blade and beak-shaped downcurved fluke both with circular piercings, the latter struck on one side with a mark, a cross with the initials 'C(?)O', open socket, four straps, two made separately, and original wooden staff (bottom wormed and incomplete); the second with narrow axe-blade with inward-sloping straight edge, cusped fluke, two straps, and wooden staff
