A French Ivory Powder-Flask
19th Century, probably Dieppe
With flattened oval body carved in relief in the 17th Century style with animals entwined in combat, the front and back each with central medallion, one decorated with a man and his dog, and the other with a boar beset by hounds, each in a wooded landscape, baluster nozzle carved with foliage, and two rings for suspension (replaced)
