An autograph letter in Stan Laurel's hand, signed, on Queen's Hotel, Southsea, Hants headed paper, January 24th, 1954, to an English fan called Tom Cowie, discussing family news and informing him....we shall be at the Empire in Glasgow week of April 5th & it will indeed be nice to see you again. We are doing a new sketch which I hope will please Empire audiences. I was shocked when I heard re McKenzie Reid - we had seen him & Dorothy playing in Nottingham just two weeks before he passed away....we shall be seeing Dorothy next week, we are at the Empire Chiswick..., signed Sincerely always Stan Laurel, 2pp.; and a half-length publicity photograph of Laurel and Hardy signed in black ink by subjects and additionally inscribed in black ink Our Regards & Good Wishes Alway [sic] Tom, Sincerely - Stan -- 5x6½in.
