An early 19th-Century silvered and lacquered-brass compass sundial,
signed on the hour ring Dollond London, the folding gnomon with scroll support, the horizontal plate with compass box, the silvered dial with level and cross-bubble, the steel needle with blued tip and jewelled brass cap, with needle clamp and three brass levelling screws, the folding latitude arc engraved 0°-60°, the dial 4¼in. (10.8cm.) dia.
