An exhibition standard 1/12th scale model of a Robey Cross Compound Mill Engine
built by A. Walshaw, No. 278, with blacked steel clad cylinders 1in. and 1½in. bores x 1½in. stroke, draincocks and pipes, inlet manifold with main stop and governor valves, lagged transfer pipe with dummy pressure gauge, Meyer expansion valve gear, frame incorporated trunk type crosshead guides, gibbed and cottered big ends, bearing oil pots, eccentric driven feed pump, belt driven pickering type governor, counterbalanced crankshaft and spoked flywheel with barring holes, finished in maroon and polished brightwork and mounted on a planked floor with handrails -- 7¼ x 16¼in. (18.5 x 41.3cm.). Display base.
