A finely engineered 1/8th scale model of a 'Stockport' open crank gas engine,
originally built by J. Andrew & Co. Ltd., No. 80045, and modelled by K.L. Gray, with water-cooled cylinder and cylinder head 1¼in. bore x 2¾in. stroke, frame incorporated curved trunnion main bearings with wick type oil boxes, twin curved spoke flywheels, gear driven camshaft, rope driven 'splash' type cylinder lubricator, cam and rocker operated exhaust and inlet valves, make and break and Atkinson's patent vibrating governor and valve, hot tube and spark ignition systems, floor-mounted air cleaner, exhaust pipe and silencer, gas regular and master valve, water pipes and other details, finished in red with white lining and polished brightwork (restored) and mounted on a black and white tiled floor with hand railings, display base -- 16¾ x 39½in.
