A well detailed and presented wood and metal display model of an English 12 pdr Armstrong breech loading field gun and limber of circa 1880,
the gun with opening breech, rifled barrel, removable touch hole, traverse and elevation mechanisms, wooden carriage with metal furnishing, wooden spoked wheels with wooden hubs, the limber with wooden axle and similar wheels, ammunition chest with shells, rope and chains, buckets, axe and spade, the whole finished in grey and black and mounted on a simulated cobbled road with sponges and worm, buckets and another ammunition chest with shells and cartridges, and Union Jack -- 6 x 29in.
